The World in Pause

We are making history right now battling an insidious and unprecedented novel virus, Covid 19, all around the world.
It happened quickly, like a tsunami — aggressively spreading like a dark and mysterious plague across sea and land threatening to overtake us all.
The gravity of our collective situation took a moment to settle in and also adjust to the protocols being put in place.
Because corona virus has spread to every continent on earth there is really nowhere to run to and nowhere to hide.
World leaders have advised citizens to step back and stay home. With this quarantine, my hope is that individuals will use this opportunity to reflect and regroup and actually go “inside” … not just physically but inside themselves emotionally and spiritually as a meditation.
This pandemic is bigger than all of us. It has tested us, scared us, bewildered us and we still do not have the antidote to this mysterious adversary.
With our economy hanging in fragile limbo, we are threatened to our very core sending us into freefall to an unknown outcome.
With theories floating around about how and why this dreaded virus befell us, I ask this:

Is this somehow a cosmic reboot?
What are the lessons that we are meant to learn?
Can we evolve to a higher plane by being forced to be still with ourselves?
Will we relish our human connections more in our future?
Will we prioritize our time to see our loved ones more often in person?
Will we appreciate our freedoms again, trying not to take much for granted anymore?
Imagine If this creates a more aware and mindful society after the dust has settled.
After all of this darkness, can we find light?
